We hear a lot of discussion concerning the “American Dream”. I want to share about a different kind of dream.

Lately, I have been thinking of the numbers 3/20. Yes it is a date on a white board in our home, but it is also the number of this amazing promise in the Bible. It is this promise that God and His power far exceed anything we could ask, think, or even possibly imagine.
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Ephesians 3:20, NLT
My ultimate dream is for my entire family to come to Jesus Christ. My dream is for everyone to “repent of [their] sins and turn to God, so that [their] sins may be wiped away (Acts 3:19).” Thankfully, my salvation in Christ does not depend upon whether each family member finally realizes their need to turn away from sin and to turn to Christ.
But, I want to see every single person I know or love in Heaven.
The reality is the choices are – Heaven or Hell (a place described as “furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” in Matthew 13:42). Before we ask, “If God is so loving…”, keep on reading. John 3:16-17 is exactly what all of us need.
This is the reality of the absolute truth for everyone
and where my heart is.
In the Bible, we are given this parable of the great banquet (Luke 14:15-24). Everyone has their own set of excuses for why they cannot come, but the Master says it plainly: “Go… Tell… ” And yes, absolutely, there is still room at the King’s table. I am ready for this Blessed Moment, but there are so many that I know and love who are not ready, who have rejected His invitation.
16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
John 3:16-17
What is stopping us from sharing the Gospel with others? And, what is stopping us from receiving His Son Jesus the Messiah and Good News for ourselves?
Bottom line: I want my family, friends, frienemies, neighbors, strangers, and everyone in between to realize their need for Jesus Christ, but to also receive the joys that are only ours when we walk in a reconciled relationship with God through Christ – because He paved the way for us! God sent His Son to take our punishment and so that we may have eternal life, so we may have abundant life.
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus Christ) came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
John 10:10, AMP
What is stopping us from accepting this gift? Or even, crying out to God with all our hearts for loved ones?

I love this devotion!! It’s so true & straight to the point & backed up by Scripture! I believe everyone knows someone who isn’t saved yet & needs to know Jesus & receive His gift of salvation, love, grace & forgiveness. We need to start by praying for them & asking God for opportunities to love on them, help them & care for them & also have opportunities to share the gospel with them! If you can’t think of anyone, then ask God to bring someone in your life that you can share Jesus with! He’ll do it!! It’s happened to me! Thank you so much for posting this Stacey!!
Thanks friend, it is just something that has been weighing on my heart.
