I am beginning to notice a theme. My Psalm today is chapter 23 – which is all about how the Lord will be with us. Which is a truth I both need and am treasuring.
I am going to simply sit here and soak up His truths… And that He *never* abandons me.
I have been thinking a lot about relationships. On the 12th, we will be celebrating three whole years since my Grandfather moved to Heaven. With that specific number of years rolling through my brain, I am reminded of how much life HAS changed.
Life is constantly changing for all of us. We may not have the same friends as we did one year ago today. Even as we go through trials, our lives are changing often. Even though, a lot of times it can feel as though everyone’s(but ours) is moving on.
There is one constant in all of our lives: God through His Son Jesus Christ has come to SAVE us and promises to never leave us – which He carries out through His Holy Spirit.
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you (John 14:16-18 NLT).”
Wherever you find yourself today, hang in there dear friend! Hold onto our precious Savior, Jesus the Christ!
