He is Still There!

17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
    They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them;
    they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
    you are still with me!

19 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked!
    Get out of my life, you murderers!
20 They blaspheme you;
    your enemies misuse your name.
21 O Lord, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you?
    Shouldn’t I despise those who oppose you?
22 Yes, I hate them with total hatred,
    for your enemies are my enemies.

Psalm 139:17-22, NLT

Regardless of who we see or talk to, our Risen Lord is still with us. His presence is what helps us get through the day.

Despite trials in our lives, the Lord never leaves His children. While we may drift some as His children, our God is so very faithful!

The Lord thinks of us and chooses to stay with us despite the highs and lows of life. That is something I am truly thankful for. He makes the choice to stay with me.

He chose to save me by sending His precious Son Jesus Christ.

I am forever His!

His Word does not change.

He does not change.

While I have my days of feeling unworthy, He remains worthy of my thoughts and attention. So often, though, other things get in the way of worshipping my Savior.

I either have the TV on or something else.

But He is so worthy of my worship.

This morning, I am coming before Him (trials and all) and laying it at His feet. I come offering my broken, yet 100% real worship.

This has to be an every single day decision because I fail as a human. I see shiny things that seem more appealing at any given moment. But today, at this moment, I choose to worship.

How can you worship Him today?
