Nourished People

“May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God (Phil. 1:11).”

“Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive (Titus 3:14).”

“And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness (James 3:18).”

This is what the fruit of righteousness looks like. Meeting my family’s urgent needs. Being the hands and feet of King Jesus – my beloved Savior!

My faith is being put in action; I get to practice God’s love – forgiveness – and depending upon the Lord.

Because of what Christ has done for me through His love, His suffering, and His resurrection, my current character flaws are not permanent.

Because of Christ, I have been (and continue to be) changed from the inside – out! And this same amazing bigger-than-life hope is out there for everyone else too!

We can be made increasingly more like our beautiful Savior – Jesus Christ!

Question of the Day: What does the fruit of righteousness look like to you? What does it mean to you?
