Glorious Hope

“Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future (Ephesians 4:3‭-‬4 NLT).”

Like many of you, I am finding it difficult to stay engaged on social media due to the lack of peace and unity. When I step away from social media and find myself celebrating God’s biblical truth, I am in a far better place.

This week, I have been basking in the glorious hope of our Risen Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and Colossians 3! Even though our world is spiraling out of control, it does not change who God is or His ability to save us (you and me)! Because of Christ Jesus as our Savior, we have a steady hope that can never be taken from us.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.

John 10:28-29

How are you being reminded of His glorious hope? And, how are you staying united in Christ?

Spend extra time with the Lord this weekend, my friends. Our souls need Him so much more than we realize. Right now, everything feels as though it is flared up. We need to spend time with our Lord Jesus, so we can keep the mind of Christ and remember to be taught by Him (instead of allowing ourselves to be taught by the world).

We get the opportunity to be Disciples of Jesus, to be intimately taught and guided by our Mighty God. What a privilege to love God and others in our daily lives!

The hope found in Christ is nothing like, “I hope we can eat out for dinner.” The kind of hope we have through Jesus Christ is so much greater than anything this world can give us!

Hang in there, and keep seeking Christ!

P.S. . . Please keep me in your prayers. My mental health is experiencing its own flare up these past several weeks. Here is a little “pick me up”, if you find yourself in a rough place also.
