Prioritizing Our Heavenward Relationship

Today, I sat and thoroughly enjoy the Word of God. Yesterday, my heart sat with Psalm 91. Today, I went to a different place, but not too far away. Psalm 89.

“You rule the oceans. You subdue their storm-tossed waves. . .

The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world is yours—you created it all. . .

Powerful is your arm! Strong is your hand! Your right hand is lifted high in glorious strength. (Psalms 89:9‭, ‬11‭, ‬13 NLT).”

I was reminded today that it is of absolute importance to place our relationship with Jesus Christ at the top of our priority lists. And so, I am getting the opportunity to truly practice this in my life – as I try to step away a little from this beautiful ministry. And, I am thankful I can still give a bit of time each day to post when I feel led.

For a few hours today, it was only me and our Savior Jesus in my room. I had birds singing in the background, but mostly just me and Jesus. And, I loved it. It reminded me what I want. To be so much nearer to Him. To be on fire for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To serve Him when I can. To sit at my Savior’s feet, which the Lord has shown me I am not doing nearly enough. But, I can choose to delight more in Him. ♡

The sacrifices we make to give our lives wholly to Him, well they are 1,000% worth it!
