Let The Mockers Laugh

“The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple (Psalm 27:4, NLT).”

Tonight, I was reminded that not all seek Jesus Christ or to love others well. But most of all, I was reminded of my need to control my tongue and seek the Lord God in each action – even when it’s hard.

Choose to love those who don’t love me back.
Choose to not speak words in anger.
Choose to accept my circumstances.

Choose to write and study, even when depressed and “not in the mood”.
Choose to remember Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.”

In Psalm 27:4, we are reminded of our need to seek our God and His Son Jesus Christ throughout the day.

We need to continually seek His face and marinate our souls in His life giving truths!

To live with our Beloved Savior, is far greater than anything this world could ever hope to give.

I don’t know what you need at this moment, but I know I need more quality time with my Rescuer Jesus the Christ.

My heart aches at the actions of this world, and I know He is the One to run toward. When I run toward Christ, I find joy and peace. And even though folks find reason to laugh at me or what I might do, I know I am in the right place when I sit at Jesus’ feet.

Folks can ridicule and make fun of us, but we have eternal life through God’s Son Jesus Christ.

And because we have chosen to follow Jesus, we never have to go through life alone. We never even have to process life’s experiences on our own, and friends – that is huge! This is just one of the many blessings of being His follower and disciple! So, stay encouraged!

This world can never compare with the love of Jesus. So, let the mockers laugh – just know who will receive the reward for living by faith in His Son Jesus Christ – who is our Savior that no one can stop!

While we live by faith, may we aspire to these verses – to crave increasingly more time with our Savior Jesus who loves us far more than we could ever imagine.
