Victory Over Our Enemies

When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall (Psalm 27:2).

Our adversaries are no match for our God. He is mighty and protects those who choose to put first Him and His Son Jesus Christ. Our God is knows what each of us will face and the exact tune we will face them. None of these things surprise our God.

When others approach us – seeking to harm us, we need to run toward Christ Jesus. This is when we need to run toward Him the most. We need to call upon the Lord Jesus and seek His strength continually.

Have you noticed yet which group fell – our enemies or us? That is the difference between doing things solo and relying on our Savior Jesus to be our ever-present help.

When I was younger and less aware of my identity in Christ, I used to try and fill my God shaped holes in other ways. The big one being my words as weapons of war.

Oh friends, may we cling to our Lord Jesus and remember He is the One carrying us to victory! We are the group that won’t stumble and fall. All because of King Jesus the Christ.
