Gracefully Overcoming

Living in the Confidence and Hope Found in Christ Alone!

Zip It (Karen Ehman)

Zip ItKaren Ehman is a woman with a gift for writing and sharing the Bible with her readers. She recently came out with a new book. The book, Zip It, is a follow-up to Karen Ehman’s Keep It Shut book.

An eight week Bible study, Zip It is designed to teach us how we can most honor God with our words. We all know the consequential emotions we feel, when others have said certain words to us. However we can choose to build up our relationships with our words, and learn to forgive.

Ehman helps us to focus on how we can turn to God and actually give Him our words. This is a study that will impact lives, for the better.

This is a forty day challenge, where we can filter our relationships with different, better, words.

“Zip It” is definitely a book God will use to bring about His transformative work in the lives of His sons and daughters – as we listen for His voice and follow His leading.

My Response –

I can honestly say, I loved Zip It immediately! I just fell in love with this book, because of the way Ehman writes, teaches the Word of God, and discusses the effect words has on relationships. It was (and is) a topic that is close to my heart.

In this book we are taught directly from God’s Word and are given the opportunity to see the work of God in our lives – as we give Him our words over this forty day period.

I believe God will greatly use this book in mine and others’ lives, as we walk through this forty day challenge – for we are being drawn to Jesus and growing in trusting Him with our words and relationships.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to hear the Bible and see God transform their verbal and written speech. Click here to buy your copy of Zip It today! (For under $10 on Amazon)

Bonus: Karen Ehman just finished leading a study on this wonderful 40 day challenge. Click here to visit its Facebook page.
