Goals for April 21-25

drlb2Do: Nothing. Really? Yes, really. I will begin editing my book in a couple days, but want to just step back a little bit for a couple days. To enjoy good rest. To mentally process whatever needs to be processed. To come away with Christ. To physically recuperate. To refocus on Christ, and the joy that is found in His Presence.

Learn: how to “come away” with Christ. Matthew 11 shares with me that I can boldly come despite my life’s messiness. “Come all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (and life)

  • Finish “The Set Apart Woman”
  • Begin “Falling in Love with Jesus”

Be: purposeful in how I choose to live. While I may battle things others don’t, my life still very much has meaning… and my life needs to reflect that. My choices need to reflect that. How am I spending my days? What kind of choices am I making? Just as I need to number my days, am I mindful of God’s gift of time?

How do you purposely choose to live? How does it reveal the purpose God has for your life?

Jeremiah 29:11 says:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
