Jeremiah 33:3- The Hidden Things

Few days ago, my focus verse was Psalm 139:10. Today… Today, it is Jeremiah 33:3. This is the verse I am choosing to focus on, spend my head-space thinking on and repeating.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you, I will tell you
great unsearchable things that you do not know.

In my head space, this is the best place to be. Meditating on God’s Word. Letting Him fill me up, and make me whole.

I may not know what the upcoming test will show, but God does.
Research profits little, but His Word profits a whole lot.

I wanted to share what it says in my ESV for its commentary:

33.3 CallI will answer. Because of His love and grace. hidden things. Future things that will now reveal. You is singular, addressed specifically to Jeremiah, but this great promise also has wider application to all the people of God, particularly as they call out for understanding and he gives them understanding of his word and his purposes in their lives.

Calling out to God profits much. Calling out to God profits much more than research or even if I had the ability to know without a shadow of a doubt what the test might show. For me, it’s about using these moments to meditate on God’s Word. Using life’s situations, to meditate on God’s Word more.

I made the decision to focus on this Bible verse until my test is over. I know the Lord will guide me into the truth, and He will supply me with all I need. I know after this test is done, He will lead me to another Bible verse I need to allow to get into my “head space” (as I am calling it) and into my heart. He supplies me with all, I need!
